Independent Runners who operate outside faction politics. They work for credits, taking contracts from anyone willing to pay.

Not every Runner wants to pledge allegiance to a corporation or cause. Freelancers are independent operators who sell their services to the highest bidder. They're found everywhere on Tau Ceti IV, loyal only to themselves and their bank accounts. Some see them as mercenary scum; others admire their freedom.
